The Alphabet Soup Collective is a collaborative network of associations representing the global textile, sewn products and related industries. Launched in 2024, the Collective grew out of a shared desire to bring the industry’s many organizations — and acronyms — together in a more intentional way.

 

The Collective provides a trusted forum where participating associations can build relationships, exchange knowledge, share resources and better understand the priorities of different sectors across the value chain. Each organization retains its distinct mission, identity and specialized expertise while benefiting from the broader reach, perspectives and capabilities of the group.

Through stronger communication and coordination, the Collective aims to create greater value for association members and strengthen the industry as a whole. Its goals include aligning calendars, expanding educational and networking opportunities, developing collaborative events and programs, and responding more effectively to challenges and opportunities that affect multiple parts of the industry.

 

By turning connections into coordinated action, the Collective hopes to build a more informed, innovative, connected and resilient industry — one in which associations work together where their interests align while continuing to provide the focused expertise their individual communities rely upon.
